Kriya Yoga: The Sacred Science of
Breath and Inner Light …

Kriya Yoga is a sacred path of inner awakening that gently unites body, breath, and soul. Rooted in ancient yogic wisdom, it teaches that the breath — prāṇa — is the bridge between the physical and the divine.

At the heart of Kriya Yoga is yogic breathing, often practiced as prāṇāyāma. In simple terms, it is slow, conscious breathing. As you inhale and exhale with awareness, the restless mind begins to settle. The breath flows like a calm नदी (river), carrying away tension and awakening subtle energy within the nāḍīs (energy channels). Over time, this practice harmonizes the heart and mind, creating inner balance.

Another beautiful practice is Jyoti Mudra — the “gesture of inner light.” By gently closing the senses and turning awareness inward, one begins to perceive a subtle radiance, the jyoti, within. This light symbolizes the presence of the Ātman — the true Self.

Through regular dhyāna (meditation), the practitioner experiences stillness beyond thoughts. In that silence, one feels connected to the vast consciousness — Brahman. Kriya Yoga reminds us that what we seek outside already shines within.
